Our Story
Own your part of Charleston.
Family History
The Peninsula of Charleston will begin taking reservations in 2023 and is scheduled to break ground in 2024. The Peninsula of Charleston will be co-owned and operated by Liberty Senior Living and Evening Post Industries. These two fourth-generation family-led businesses have deep, long-standing roots in the Carolinas as well as decades of experience in the hospitality and healthcare world.

Beautifully Designed
Located where Columbus Street intersects with King Street in the Courier Square District, The Peninsula will feature over 140 residences designed by internationally renowned New York-based Robert A.M. Stern Architects in partnership with Charleston-based LS3P. Scott Parker of the Charleston-based firm, Designworks, is responsible for the landscape architecture for the new community.
Investing In Ownership
The Peninsula is unique in that it offers individual residential ownership and the option to sell or designate condominiums as inheritance. Unlike the entrance fee or rental model typical for retirement communities, people who call The Peninsula home will have the opportunity for appreciation, the flexibility to sell and move, the choice to take a mortgage tax deduction and equity that protects estate values.

Full Continuum of Care
The healthy and active lifestyle at The Peninsula will be further strengthened by our dedicated healthcare services team. In addition to Independent Living residences, The Peninsula offers Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing accommodations.
